Ivy Academy held their annual art exhibition --- Art Exhibition and Science Event: Making Creative Connections on May 14. Each child had one of his/her own painting framed and put on display in the great hall at Suzhou Gardens. Art pieces on display also include a paper mache airplane nestled in a tree; a movie projector and a dragon constructed from recycled materials made by children from the Pre/K 202 class; and giant stuffed sea creatures made by children from the Pre/K 203 class that was suspended from the ceiling.
The beauty of art, the fun of science, good food and sunshine ensured the success of this exhibition that was the culmination of the creative connections that Ivy Academy students have made the entire year.
