About Us

Founded in 2004, Ivy Schools are dedicated to providing premier early childhood education. Our schools offer the only Multiple Intelligences (MI) program in China officially recognized by the MI Institute, and in addition we are the only early childhood education organization in Asia with the active participation of Harvard Graduate School of Education and founder of MI theory, Professor Howard Gardner as an advisory board member. Our goal is to develop each child's full potential in a dynamic and supportive environment using current research-based practices.

We offer three different types of kindergarten programs based on the Multiple Intelligences theory to cater to the differing needs of parents and their children:

Dr. Howard Gardner Visits Ivy Schools

Beijing, China. On June 2, 2010, Dr. Howard Gardner, who is on Ivy Advisory Board, visited two Ivy campuses - Ocean Express campus and Lijing campus. During these campus visits, Dr. Gardner visited two classes taking place in Ivy Schools: Chinese Circle Time and Orff Music. During the Chinese Circle Time, our Chinese teacher, Ms. Yu, demonstrated an activity on the law of conservation

Ivy's Chief Education Officer Londi Carbajal Leads PD at Beijing Institute of Education

Beijing, China. On January 21st, 2010, Londi Carbajal, Chief Education Officer of Ivy Group and Wenshu Yao, Educational Associate of Ivy Group, presented at the first MI professional development session at Beijing Institute of Education (BIE).

Ivy Academy Receives “Top Private Kindergarten" National Award

Beijing, China. The ceremony of the Chinese Association For Non-government Education was held on December 19th, 2009, to recognize the outstanding private schools, kindergartens and educational institutions over the past year. We are very pleased to announce that Ivy Academy received the “Top Private Kindergarten” national award. Our Chinese Principal, Baoxin Zhao attended the ceremony on behalf of Ivy Group.

Ivy Academy Receives "Top Private School" Award From Beijing Ministry of Education

Beijing, China. On October 23rd, the Beijing Private Kindergarten Administrative Conference was held at the DaXing 21st Century Kindergarten by Beijing Ministry of Education. Ivy Academy was awarded the “Top Private School” and our representative Lucy Li received the award on behalf of Ivy Group.
