Ivy Signs Agreement with Longfor in Chengdu
Chengdu, China. Ivy Group, which manages the premier Multiple Intelligences (MI) kindergartens in China and winner of the "Top Private Kindergarten" national award, is pleased to announce the partnership with Longfor to build kindergartens in Chengdu.
On January 27th, 2010, a signing ceremony was held to formally sign the agreement between Ivy Group and China’s premier property developer Longfor to build world class kindergartens in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan province. Ivy was represented by its CEO, Mr. Jack Hsu and VP of Business Development, Ms. Fiona Han, and Longfor was represented by its General Manager, Mr. Yong Zhou and Vice General Manager, Ms. Lin Wang.
"This was a two-way selection process; Longfor went through a two-month long evaluation process that included vists to several of our campuses in Beijing in order to select the most credible education partner. We are very impressed by their professionalism," commented Jack Hsu, CEO of Ivy Group.
"On our part, we wanted to select a partner that is committed to providing great education and shares the same values as Ivy. We think we have found a wonderful partner," added Mr. Hsu.
The first Chengdu Ivy campus is centrally located in Longfor Three Thousand Castles, a high-end residential complex in the eastern part of the city. Ivy will be offering its bilingual Multiple Intelligences based program serving families with children from ages 2 to 6. This state-of-the-art facility is designed with 9 classrooms with a total of 2,870 square meter indoor space and spacious outdoor area. Enrollment will be accepted starting in September 2010.
